In an ongoing effort to turn around the franchise, the Washington Commanders keep adding to and altering its front office.
By doing this, the Commanders hired the former general manager of the Carolina Panthers, Scott Fitterer, who had been unemployed for six months. The former general manager will assist the front office and scouting departments in Washington as a personnel executive.
Fitterer has been in the league for a good amount of time. He began his career in the front office of the New York Giants and spent 20 years working in player personnel. Before being hired by the Panthers as general manager, he spent the most of his career with the Seattle Seahawks.
