BREAKING NEWS: THE HEAD COACH OF BRONEOS NATION JUST CONFIRMED THE DEAD OF BRONEOS NATION IN A PLANE CRASH…

Lucas, who is coming from Brisbane to attend the game on Sunday, is hoping that his feelings won’t run away from him again. “I may be different to some, but if I run into Des I will say hello and shake his hand and wish him all the best and hope he wins heaps more games with the Titans – just not this one,” Lucas told Yahoo Sport Australia. “The 40-0 thrashing of Melbourne in 2008, masterminded by Des, who was a brilliant Manly player and coach, was the highlight of my life.

“I have never had a “2nd Team” but find myself watching and cheering the Titans and hoping Des and Kieran Foran have some of the success they both deserve.”I believe that most Manly supporters will extend a cordial welcome to Des and Kieran upon their return to Brookvale, and they will be appreciative of everything that they accomplished for the Sea Eagles.

“I simply wish I had enough cash to have a duplicate of my Sunday banner produced with tiny change to say: GUESS WHAT? MANLY LUVS THE TWO OF YOU!”

When asked about Hasler’s comeback, CEO Tony Mestrov remained silent, but Manly coach Anthony Seibold commended his predecessor’s service to the team. The Titans are coming to town after three games in a row.

Two AFL greats have called out Brayden Maynard for his stray forearm on the Hawks young player in a supporter’s video of Jack Ginnivan revving up the Collingwood supporters. AFL fans have been criticizing some Magpies supporters for jeering Ginnivan for his antics, as part of the ongoing aftermath from the Hawthorn vs Collingwood match.

The fact that some Collingwood supporters gave it to Ginnivan during the match infuriated rival supporters, as Magpies supporters had previously denounced rival fan bases for picking on the 21-year-old prodigy when he was wearing the black and white. After his first goal, Ginnivan kissed the Hawthorn emblem, continuing his typical antics.

Then, following his second goal of the evening, Ginnivan motioned to the 74,171 spectators that it was time for Collingwood to go to bed. Additionally, video of Ginnivan delivering it to the crowd away from the broadcast cameras has surfaced.

Footage showed Ginnivan approaching the ardent Collingwood supporters after he had scored a goal, inciting the crowd with a hand gesture that made the supporters all leap out of their seats. Without a doubt, Ginnivan flourished at the MCG, making fun of the supporters of his previous team. But many Collingwood supporters believe that some went too far in supporting Ginnivan after he engaged in similar behavior in the past. Many thought Ginnivan’s self-assurance enhanced the spectacle each time he performed.

Police response to Brayden Maynard’s forearm
Even though Ginnivan received a lot of attention for his on-field antics against the supporters, Maynard, a former teammate, told the Hawthorn star that he wouldn’t put up with it. Ginnivan entered the game to tackle Maynard while he was gathering the ball in the second quarter.

The Collingwood player tried to block the charging Ginnivan, but the Hawthorn player was struck in the face by the rising forearm. After discarding the ball, Maynard collapsed gently due to a collision with a hawthorn.

Legends of the AFL have hinted that Brayden Maynard (shown left) would face consequences for his high collection of Jack Ginnivan (pictured right).
Fans were not pleased either. Many speculated that Maynard may run afoul of the Match Review Officer, given that players like Isaac Heeney have received one-game suspensions in recent weeks for stray arms. Additionally, in 2024, reckless play was penalized when controversial events led to three-week bans for Charlie Cameron and Toby Bedford, respectively.
