Nashville, TN – Nashville police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Friday morning on East Trinity Lane. Around 10:15 a.m., an unidentified Hispanic woman was shot multiple times at a residence in the 100 block of East Trinity Lane. The woman, who lived at the location with her boyfriend, was rushed to Skyline Medical Center but later died.
According to witnesses, an unknown Black man wearing dark clothing and a mask entered the home and fired several rounds at the woman’s boyfriend before shooting the victim on the front porch. The boyfriend was not hit and, along with another witness, attempted to follow the suspect as he fled towards Meridian Street. They eventually lost sight of him.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. The Medical Examiner’s Office is working to identify the victim through fingerprints. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
