Sad report: Cliff Richard has been announced dead just now as he was involved in a car crash

Cliff Richard certainly made a splash as he released a series of images from his upcoming 2025 calendar on Monday.

The pop veteran, 83, took his fans on a Summer Holiday for his latest annual poses, sipping on cocktails and posing for a fun snap with a dolphin water feature.

Cliff has been releasing his calendar since 1979 and regularly outsells the likes of Harry Styles and Taylor Swift, with this year’s snaps proving his commitment to the cause

Taken at his lavish Barbados pad, the new photoshoot sees the singer kick back in a clashing zebra print T-shirt and Hawaiian swimming trunks by the pool.

Changing into another outlandish shirt, Cliff then headed inside and grinned next to an extravagant star-shape light fixture.

He said: ‘All the pictures in my 2025 official licensed calendar were taken, once again, by Robin Williams at my home in Barbados and when on a wonderful cruise earlier this year.

‘I just love being in or on the water. I find it calming and relaxing after a busy schedule has finished, and it clears my mind to make plans for future projects.’

Sir Cliff’s total calendar sales since 1979 are reportedly around the £2million mark – beating those of David Beckham.

His 2022 release was the best-selling of any music star’s calendar, according to Calendar Club, which had Elvis Presley in second, followed by Harry Styles.

Danilo Promotions, which tracks sales of all calendars, put Sir Cliff’s 2024 in fourth, with Taylor Swift top. Harry Styles didn’t make the top five.

In December, Cliff revealed he would jump at the chance to duet with Taylor because it would allow him to finally crack America given she is one of the most well-known performers in the world.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: ‘She’s the biggest artist on the planet. If she asked me, I’d say, “Yes please,” because I’m sure it would be a big hit.

‘And it might be an introduction for me in America because I’ve failed in America, apart from what Elton John did for me with two songs.’
