Plane lands at ozarks causing huge commotion.

LAKE OZARK, Mo. — Lake of the Ozarks residents could soon receive financial assistance for new septic systems, thanks to a substantial grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.

The Lake of the Ozarks Watershed Alliance, Inc. (LOWA) has been awarded a $2.5 million grant to help residents replace failing septic systems within the central Missouri watershed. The funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. This DNR wastewater reimbursement grant aims to prevent leaking wastewater from contaminating the Lake of the Ozarks.

To qualify, residents must have an adjusted gross income of less than $61,043, live within the watershed boundaries, and have a failing septic system. The home does n
