A woman from Dublin is pleading for information immediately after her dog was taken yesterday in the city center. In support of the owner, Andy Cullen, the founder of Husky Rescue Ireland, posted pictures of the stolen dog on Facebook and expressed her “devastation” at its loss. “She is an adopted dog from Husky Rescue Ireland,” Mr. Cullen stated on Facebook. “I can attest that she was taken today from Dublin’s Marlborough Street. We need to keep a watchful check on her owner, who is inconsolable. If you hear, see, or know anything, please let me know and get in touch. Pictures of Skye were also posted by Cathy Ward, one of the missing dog’s co-owners, on a Facebook page devoted to lost, stolen, or missing dogs in theReports state that during lunchtime, Ms. Ward’s spouse was out walking Skye when he was attacked, which resulted in the dog being stolen. A man who was roughly 6 feet 2 inches tall, according to Ms. Ward, grabbed her partner aggressively, which led to a battle, she informed FM104. A second person, wearing a white sweatshirt, grabbed Skye during the scuffle and ran away down Cathal Brugha Street, getting into a taxi. The taxi came to a stop at a set of lights, and the man got out and started running toward Mountjoy Square, carrying Skye with him. The partner of Ms. Ward tried to follow them, but he was unable to catch up. Additionally, it was stated that Ms. Ward’s partner needed medical attention for injuries she received during the event.
