Indiana Fever supporters point the finger at WNBA player Caitlin Clark after she loses again.

Even though Caitlin Clark has just played four games in the Women’s National Basketball Association, the star player already feels the pressure of high expectations. After suffering her fourth straight loss in her most recent game for her new squad, the Indiana Fever, Clark left the WNBA team 0-4 on the season and is still yet to win.Against the Connecticut Sun, the Fever lost out narrowly with a 88-84 defeat at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and Clark’s performance was one of the big talking points.

The game went down to the wire, but the Fever couldn’t pull it off. Aliyah Boston – the No. 1 pick in the WNBA 2023 Draft – came close to tying the game with six seconds left but missed an open layup. After being called for her first technical foul since joining the WNBA, Clark—who finished with 17 points, three rebounds, and five assists—was held accountable for her role in the loss.

Despite her best efforts, some fans continued to lay the finger at Clark on social media and criticize Watson, seeing the foul as the turning point in the game. One fan said: “Funny to me how people are blaming Aliyah Boston for the loss when at the 4 min mark of the 4th and the Fever up by 4, Caitlin Clark turned the ball over which led to a Harris 3 then turned the ball over again in the next possession then committed a take foul then got a tech”An another said: “Aliyah Boston will be held accountable for the Fever’s defeat, but the game’s momentum was significantly altered by Caitlin Clark’s transition foul and technical. Caitlin Clark then turned the ball over on the very next play. So let’s avoid dogpiling Boston and instead be fair.”
