LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Olmsted Parks Conservancy President and CEO Layla George will be stepping down in the coming months.

That’s according to a statement he released on Wednesday.

She has been leading the nonprofit organization for the past six years.

“Personally, the time feels right for me to take on a new challenge and professionally, I could not be more confident in the team’s ability to carry on our mission,” George wrote in her message.

George released a separate message on the Olmsted Parks Conservancy’s Facebook page as well.
