Sadly, 4 generations of a family killed on a hunting trip when their plane crashes in South Dakota

According to a corporation where two of the victims were executives, nine people, representing four generations of an Idaho Falls family, died in a jet crash in South Dakota while on a hunting trip. According to a statement from Kyäni President Travis Garza, the brothers Jim and Kirk Hansen, who founded the health and wellness company Kyäni Inc., were on the single-engine Pilatus PC-12 with their father, Jim Hansen Sr., when it crashed after takeoff on Saturday in Chamberlain, South Dakota. Three people made it out alive.

Jake Hansen, the son of Jim Hansen Jr., and Houston, Jake’s son, also perished in the collision. The disaster claimed the lives of Kirk Hansen’s sons, Stockton and Logan, as well as his sons-in-law, Tyson Dennert and Kyle Naylor.

We regret to inform you that our beloved founders, Jim and Kirk, passed away in a horrific plane crash yesterday,” Garza said in a statement identifying the surviving family members. “We are all mourning and ask your prayers.” According to Garza’s account, Jim and Kirk Hansen, as well as one of Jim Hansen Jr.’s sons-in-law, all had boys who lived. They were taken to South Dakota hospitals in Sioux Falls.
