According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, 20-year-old Kobe Wirths was driving a 2012 Ford F-150 on Dec. 7 when he reportedly struck the rear of a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 16-year-old girl. Wirths reportedly lost control, crossing over the center and striking a 2015 Kenworth W900 driven by Dakota Bebon, 32. The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. at Lake Valley Drive.
Troopers investigated the incident, which blocked the roadway on Highway 54. All lanes were shut down before reopening around 6:15 p.m.
The teenager and Bebon were uninjured in the crash. Wirths sustained moderate injuries, and was transported by Mercy Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.
