2 killed, one hospitalized following a fatal crash at Mont Blanc

An update from Radio Mont Blanc suggests that the car crashed into the bridge just before Les Bossons. The driver is thought to have been a man in his early forties and the passengers aged between 18 and 25 years. The circumstances of the accident are still unknown but the latest report confirms that the four passengers in the back of the car were not wearing seat belts.

This morning at 8.30am a Peugeot 106 carrying six passengers skidded off the road in between Les Gaillands and Les Bossons.

 

The driver of the car was killed in the accident, three of the passengers were taken by helicopter to Sallanches hospital in critical condition and the remaining two passengers were treated for less serious injuries.

 

The identities of the driver and passengers have not yet been released. We will post more information as soon as we can.
