3 Child killed after being hit by car in Woodland Park

WOODLAND PARK, Colo. (KKTV) – A child was transported to the hospital after being hit by a car in downtown Woodland Park Wednesday evening.

 

Police say the child was riding a bike in front of Eagle Fire Lodge when they were struck. The business is located along Highway 24, and the crash shut down some lanes while first responders worked.

 

The victim was transported to Children’s Hospital. Police have not commented on their condition or the severity of their injuries.
