The family of a woman killed in a crash in Wethersfield last month said she had an infectious smile and a big heart.

According to her GoFundMe, Zenja Ortiz, a 35-year-old Hartford woman, was killed on Nov. 25 in a head-on crash on the Silas Deane Highway.

Ivette Rivera, Ortiz’s mother, said on the fundraising page that her family is asking donations to aid in covering funeral costs as well as medical expenses for Ortiz’s support dog Kylo, who was the sole survivor of the crash.
