TRAFFIC | I-285 West closed due to injury wreck involving box tuck and semi

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — A wreck has I-285 West closed in the Sandy Springs area on Wednesday morning.

 

Sandy Springs Police posted that it happened near Peachtree Dunwoody Road, and involved a box truck and semi truck, causing injuries.

 

The department wrote on X: “All lanes 285WB/Peachtree Dunwoody Rd are blocked at this time due to a motor vehicle involving a box truck and a semi with injuries

All lanes of I-285 West were closed in the area around 9:50 a.m. It was not initially clear when they might reopen.
