17-year-old motorcyclist killed in Burnsville crash
The motorcyclist has been identified as 17-year-old Peter Vsevolod Genis of Burnsville.
A 17-year-old was killed when he ran a red light and crashed his motorcycle in Burnsville Thursday.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner confirmed that 17-year-old Peter Vsevolod Genis, of Burnsville, died at the scene of the crash from blunt force head injuries.
According to the Minnesota Star Tribune, an SUV was turning left from westbound Burnsville Parkway to northbound Interstate 35W at around 7:30 p.m. when Genis ran a red light while traveling east, striking the SUV.
Both the driver and passenger of the SUV were reportedly uninjured.
