‘He’s a good player’ – Birmingham City summer recruit praised by Chris Davies
Birmingham City boss Chris Davies has labelled summer recruit Ben Davies as a ‘good player’ and is ‘pleased’ with how he is doing.
Birmingham City landed the defender on a season-long loan deal from Rangers in the last transfer window.
Davies, 29, has made seven League One appearances for the Blues so far this season.
His manager has been impressed with what he has seen from him in this campaign to date and has said, as per a report by BirminghamLive: “Ben has grown throughout the weeks and months since he’s joined us. He contributed really well just recently. When you have a left footed centre back it gives you good balance in the first build up, to get the ball out or to play through the lines. He also reads the game very well, he’s composed and calm but competitive as well. He’s a good player and I was pleased with how things looked.”

Birmingham City landed Davies on a temporary deal to bolster their defensive department.
He has proved to be a useful option to have in their squad and provides competition at the back for Krystian Bielik, Christoph Klarer and Dion Sanderson
