Sad News: Top American R&B Singer-Songwriter and Rapper’s House Destroy in a Devastating wildfire

This week’s Los Angeles wildfires have officially grown to become the most destructive fires in L.A. history, and the affects of the natural disaster are continuing to be processed in its aftermath. Countless residents have been urged to evacuate their homes to move to safer locations with updates now steadily pouring in from people who discovered their homes did not survive the blazes. Late Thursday morning (Jan. 9), Jhené Aiko revealed she lost her home completely, as it “burned to the ground” and she’s now focusing on “starting from scratch.”

“Praying for everyone this morning,” she wrote on Instagram. “Those who lost their home. those who lost their life’s work, those who lost their life. praying for my city. praying for the wild life and lost pets. praying for the world. let suffering be a gift; a lesson in compassion.”

In the next slide, the singer revealed her house is no longer standing but she’s grateful that she and her family are safe. “Me and my children’s home is gone. burned to the ground with all of our things inside. Lord have mercy. Thankful we still have eachother. starting from scratch. My heart is so heavy,” the mother of two concluded.
