Popular ’80s R&B singer found murdered lying in ‘pool of blood’ in back of community ambulett
Peter Forrest, 64, also known as P. Fluid, was found ‘lying in a pool of blood’ and badly beaten in the back of a private ambulette in the Bronx, New York.
Forrest was a driver for the company and was found in the back of the vehicle with the front door shattered on Monday afternoon.
Police responded to the 911 call and found Forrest unconscious and unresponsive. Emergency services then pronounced him dead at the scene, according to the New York Police Department.
A coworker at Marquis Ambulette grew concerned when they hadn’t heard from Forrest throughout the day. He was last seen at 8 am on Monday and failed to make his scheduled pickups.
The coworker couldn’t reach Forrest by phone so they tracked his company ambulette to a location in the Bronx. When they arrived, Forrest was found in a pool of blood lying in the back of the vehicle.
Video footage revealed to PIX11 News captured the moment Forrest’s ambulette pulled into a secluded area. Sources told the outlet that he was believed to already be dead at this time.
A few minutes later another sedan pulled up and the driver got out of the ambulette and into the second car.
A day after the shocking discovery, police ruled Forrest’s death a homicide. Authorities haven’t made any arrests and are actively investigating Forrest’s horrific death
