Lake house burns at LOZ, Missouri State Fire Marshal assists investigation

It was all-hands from OBFD fighting the fire as other departments helped cover their district: Mid County Fire, Sunrise Beach Fire, and Lake Ozark Fire.

Mid County Fire Protection District arrived by water with a Fire Boat to assist.

As the fire battle progressed another challenge became protecting exposures (neighboring homes). “The exposure structures deck ignited but was quickly extinguished.”

No residents were home at the time of the fire. The Missouri State Fire Marshal was summoned to assist investigation.
