Woman killed in motorbike and ute collision at intersection in Croydon, Melbourne
Paramedics rushed to the scene but the woman could not be saved.
A motorcyclist has died after crashing with a ute in Melbourne’s east.
The 28-year-old woman was riding through the intersection of Vinter Ave and Bayswater Rd in Croydon when she crashed with the ute about 11.40am on Thursday.
Paramedics attempted to treat the woman, but she was declared dead at the scene.
The 39-year-old woman driving the ute stopped at the scene and has been spoken to by detectives, according to police.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined, and the investigation remains ongoing,” they said.
“Detectives are interested in speaking with anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the area at the time of the collision.”
