A55 disruption alert as three-mile stretch to close for ‘urgent bridge repairs’
A three-mile stretch of the eastbound carriageway of the A55 is scheduled to be closed for “urgent bridge repairs”, causing potential disruption for motorists. The roadworks, on the Kneeshaw Lupton viaduct, will take place overnight on Monday, April 7 and Tuesday, April 8, starting at 8pm and finishing at 6am.
Only motorists travelling eastbound will be affected when the stretch, between the Kneeshaw Lupton viaduct between J22 Old Colwyn and J23 Llanddulas, is shut for the works. A diversion will be put in place for motorists, between the Civic Offices in Colwyn Bay and the A55 at Llanddulas, via the A547, which takes vehicles through Old Colwyn.
