
DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — The Macon County Coroner has released the name of the six-year-old boy who was hit and killed by a car in Decatur on Thursday.
Coroner Michael Burkham said he is Noah Michael Edwards. He said Noah’s death was “resulting from being struck by an automobile,” but did not release any details from an autopsy.

DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — A six-year-old boy has died after Decatur Police said he was hit by a car on his way to a school bus stop.
Department officials said their investigation revealed that the six-year-old was at the corner of Oakland Avenue and Packard Street when around 7:20 a.m., he crossed Oakland Avenue and was struck by a southbound car. The boy was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Officials said no school bus was present when the crash occurred.
