
WOOD COUNTY, Ohio (WANE) – An Auburn man died Monday after his car collided with a pickup truck in Ohio.
According to the initial investigation by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, the man was driving a car on Defiance Pike through the intersection with Dixie Highway and allegedly did not yield to an oncoming truck. The truck then hit the passenger side of the car.
The driver of the car was identified in the press release as 42-year-old Dane Knapp Sr. from Auburn.
The man driving the truck wasn’t injured. His passenger was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
