Car crashed into Etowah County house, woman killed, man injured
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported Lisa Fitts, 40, was a passenger in a Honda Accord when it left the roadway, crashed into a culvert and struck a house.
ALEA said the crash happened on Whitesboro Road about three miles east of Sardis.
The driver of the Accord was injured and taken by helicopter to Huntsville Hospital for treatment, a news release stated.
Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
