Man dead after being hit by 2 cars in Greenwood following…..

GREENWOOD, La. (KSLA) – Caddo sheriff’s deputies responded to a fatal wreck just before 6:30 a.m. Monday (March 10).

The pedestrian fatality happened in the 8000 block of West 70th Street near the crossing of Golden Meadows Road and Winburn Drive.

Preliminary details from the sheriff’s office show a man was walking west on West 70th in the left-hand lane. He was hit from behind by a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup that was also headed west, officials say. The man was thrown over the hood of the truck and landed in the road, where he was hit again, this time by a 2016 Toyota Avalon.

The man was declared dead on the scene. The sheriff’s office says toxicology samples were taken from both drivers involved, as per standard procedure.
