
Fayette County Sheriff Jess McMullen confirmed the body was identified as 47 year-old Robert L. Waller, of Wayne County.
Waller was reported as a missing person on Wednesday, July 9, but was positively identified as the body that was discovered on July 7 in Charlton Heights.
FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — A man was found dead along Route 60 in Fayette County according to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Sheriff Jess McMullen, deputies responded to a report of dead body in a ditch on Route 60 in the Charlton Heights area of Fayette County. Once on scene, the man was pronounced dead.
Deputies could reportedly could not find any identifying documents on the man. He was described as a man around 45-55 years old, weighing around 175 pounds and was 5 fee ten inches.
The man also had dark-colored hair that was dyed auburn/dark red. He also had a tattoo on his left shoulder are that said “Baby Britt.”
The incident remains under investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff’s
Office.
