23-year-old in custody after person found dead in New Albany home.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police in New Albany are investigating a “possible homicide” after a person was found dead inside a home Wednesday afternoon.
Police Chief Todd Bailey said officers responded to the 3400 block of Greenview Drive on a possible homicide just before 4 p.m. That’s in a neighborhood off Green Valley Road, not far from Spickert Knob Road.
Once on scene, police found a 56-year-old dead inside a home. Bailey said a 23-year-old man who was also at the home was taken into custody, but didn’t specify whether he was charged.
No further details about the victim were immediately available.
