Tragic News: Jonny Greenwood, the guitarist for Radiohead, has recently been reported dead following a serious illness

The 52-year-old British musician’s illness has meant supergroup The Smile has been forced to cancel the European leg of its tour.

Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood is in “intensive care” following a significant illness.

The keyboardist and composer was touring as part of The Smile with fellow Radiohead singer Thom Yorke and Sons Of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner.

The 52-year-old British musician’s illness has meant the supergroup has been forced to cancel the European leg of its tour.

A statement from The Smile said Oxford-born Greenwood had been “seriously ill” and would “soon return home”, but added doctors had advised he needed rest.

The band has confirmed all ticket holders will be refunded at the point of purchase.
