Creedence Clearwater Revival Is Back Inside The Top 10

The Creedence of Redferns The music of Clearwater Revival never goes off the Billboard charts. In some cases, the band appears on all rankings, while in other cases, they appear on just one or two. The group is still together after so many years have gone, and this week they’re climbing with what has ended up being their most popular record. Chronicle: This time, The 20 Greatest Hits is rising on four separate Billboard lists. The title’s rise places it back in some of the most prestigious and difficult levels on multiple lists, demonstrating the continued immense popularity of Creedence Clearwater Revival.

This week, the band’s greatest hits album returns to the top 10 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart. In its three hundred and eighth frame on the list of the most-listened-to full-lengths and EPs in those genres, the set rises from No. 11 to No. 9. Chronicle doesn’t need to go back to the arena because it was already there; nonetheless, it can be found ranking among the top 10 on a different linked tally. Creedence Clearwater Revival is also back inside the top 40 on what is considered the most important albums ranking in the U.S., the Billboard 200. Chronicle is up to No. 39 on that list at the moment–not too far from the title’s No. 18 peak. Last frame, the project was down at No. 47.

The rock band’s beloved project is even succeeding on streaming platforms, which is unusual for a legacy act. Chronicle steps up from No. 48 to No. 42 on the Top Streaming Albums chart. If the full-length continues with this trajectory, it could soon best its No. 38 high point on the streaming-only roster.

Luminate reports that Creedence Clearwater Revival’s Chronicle moved 18,481 equivalent units over the most recent monitoring period. This figure, which represents overall consumption, is less than 6% more than it was a year ago. 1,965 of those are pure sales, a substantial amount for a collection that spans decades. With the success of their record, CCR has one charted single. Like Chronicle, their decades-old hit song “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” is becoming more positive. The song rises one spot to No. 21 on the most recent Rock Streaming Songs list.
