Teenager killed, two others seriously injured after crash near Lake Ozark

MILLER COUNTY — A 16-year-old boy from Brumley was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday night east of Lake Ozark near the Bagnell Dam.

 

Three other juveniles were injured in the crash, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

 

The crash happened on eastbound River Road before Osage River Bridge Road around 9:52 p.m. The driver of the 2005 Acura TL went off the left side of the road, struck a tree and overturned, according to the report.

 

The driver was pronounced dead at Lake Regional Hospital. Two other occupants of the vehicle, a 16-year-old boy and 17-year-old boy from Lake Ozark, were taken to Lake Regional with serious injuries. One other occupant, a 15-year-old girl from Eldon, was taken to Lake Regional with minor injuries, according to the report.
