Coach Brian Daboll died in a plane crash and other people were injured.

Coach Brian Daboll recently sat down for Dabs’ Digest, a weekly conversation with (link unavailable)  Here are some highlights from

Daboll emphasized the importance of technique and fundamentals, which are worked on daily. He also talked about how the team alters reps and focuses on situational things to improve.

When asked about the team’s red zone defense, Daboll mentioned that while it was good that the Commanders didn’t score a touchdown, the fact that they reached the red zone six times was a concern.
Daboll was pleased with quarterback Daniel Jones’ decision-making during the game.
He also praised wide receiver Malik Nabers for his maturity and accountability, especially after a tough game.
When asked about the run defense, Daboll mentioned that efficiency is key and that they need to do a better job of tackling.
Daboll also talked about the secondary, saying that there will be growing pains with young players, but they have talent and the right mindset.
He also mentioned that the team’s new kicker, Greg Joseph, has been to many places and has a lot of experience.
