
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – An investigation is underway following a shooting on Old Monrovia Road on Saturday.
Huntsville Police said at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, officers were dispatched to Old Monrovia Road in response to reports of shots fired.
Authorities said that upon arrival, officers found evidence of gunfire in the parking lot.
No injuries were reported; however, four unoccupied vehicles and one business were struck by gunfire.
A member of the Huntsville Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene to lead the investigation.
The case remains under active investigation, and Huntsville Police said evidence indicates that individuals were firing at each other in the parking lot.
