
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Authorities in Delhi Township are investigating a car crash. It happened around 1 a.m. Friday on Dell Road between Aurelius Road and Brigantine Drive. Two trucks were seen flipped over.
The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office said alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the crash. According to the sheriff’s office, a 51-year-old man was driving a truck when it hit two unoccupied vehicles on the side of the road. The driver was traveling eastbound on Dell Rd when it sideswiped an SUV parked on the shoulder. The driver then rear-ended a parked pickup truck. The force of the impact caused both pickup trucks to overturn. The driver and his passenger, a 45-year-old woman, were seriously injured in the crash and are currently in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
