CAMERON EXITS: BROMLEY LOSES A DEFENSIVE ROCK

Kyle Cameron has left Bromley Football Club this summer as his contract with the League Two side comes to an end. The 29-year-old Centre-back spent one season at the club after joining last year and his departure is among a number of defensive exits at the Ravens ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Cameron joined Bromley in the summer of 2025 as a free agent arriving after the expiration of his contract at Notts County. The experienced defender brought with him a solid track record across the EFL, having made a name for himself at several clubs over the years.

Cameron started his career at Newcastle United before going on to represent Torquay United, Newport County, York City and Queen of the South, building his experience across both England and Scotland over the course of more than a decade as a professional.

He managed 11 league appearances for Bromley during the 2025-26 season contributing one goal and one assist. Cameron was among several senior defenders whose contracts expired at the end of the season, alongside the likes of Carl Jenkinson, Idris Odutayo, Omar Sowunmi and Byron Webster.

One of Cameron’s career highlights came at Notts County, where he captained the side to an EFL return during his second season at the club a promotion that underlined his quality and leadership at that level of the game.

His next destination is yet to be confirmed, but at 29 with solid EFL experience behind him, Cameron is likely to attract interest from clubs in League One and League Two. Bromley, meanwhile will be looking to reshape their defensive options as they prepare for life in League One next season.
