Wayne County sheriff launches murder investigation after dead man found in middle of road
DUDLEY, N.C. — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has launched a murder investigation after finding a body in the middle of the road Monday.
Monday at 7:45 a.m., deputies found a man lying in the middle of Camp Trailee Road in Dudley.
The sheriff’s office said the man was murdered.
WRAL News is working to learn if police have identified a suspect.
