After Terrence Shannon Jr. was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the NBA Draft on Wednesday night, Angel Reese was spotted giving him an embrace at his celebration.
A few weeks after being acquitted by a Kansas jury of felony rape and aggravated assault, the Chicago Sky star accompanied the former Illinois guard to an exclusive celebration. In a video released by Chicago’s WCIA News, the 23-year-old, who was taken No. 27 overall, appeared friendly with the WNBA rookie.
It’s unclear, though, how the two got together. Reese might well be rooting for other Windy City athletes like she did with Caleb Williams, a top NFL prospect who the Bears selected last month.
However, it’s unclear how the pair became connected.
Reese previously supported top NFL prospect Caleb Williams, who was drafted by the Bears last month, so she may simply be supporting fellow Windy City athletes.
