The star of Collingwood’s expanded roster for their Indigenous Round match against Geelong on Sunday at Victoria Park is the return of Ruby Schleicher.

Schleicher will play her first game of 2023, after being sidelined due to an ankle injury since before Round One.

Stacey Livingstone also returns following a one game suspension that saw her miss last week’s win against Carlton.

The third inclusion is Imogen Evans, who will feature in her first clash of the 2023 season.

Alana Porter and Ash Brazill will both miss the clash through injury, while Joanna Lin has been omitted.

Sunday’s clash against Geelong will mark Jordyn Allen’s 50th AFLW game. Allen made her debut against the Cats in the opening round of season 2019.

Since then, the Defender has averaged 3.4 marks, 3.6 contested possessions and eleven disposals a game. 23-year-old Allen also joined Collingwood’s leadership group this season.

The clash will be the second week of the AFLW Indigenous Rounds, with Collingwood set to celebrate ‘Moments Forged by First Nations’ across the matchday. Members and fans will have the opportunity to learn more about First Nation’s culture through a Welcome to Country, performance at quarter time and more.
