At least four fresh additions were made by Daniel Farke’s team as the summer transfer window came to a conclusion.

On Friday night, the frantic summer transfer window for Leeds United came to a conclusion.

There were a total of 27 senior transfers completed at Elland Road this summer, with the final two being a loan exchange involving Luis Sinisterra and Jaidon Anthony that was finalised an hour after the window closed.

With Anthony’s arrival, Leeds had added four new players during the last week of the transfer window. On Wednesday, defender Djed Spence of Tottenham Hotspur signed a season-long loan deal, and on Thursday, midfielders Ilia Gruev of Werder Bremen and Glen Kamara of Rangers both joined.

The window is officially closed, therefore Daniel Farke can concentrate completely on integrating his new players into the team and preparing a promotion-chasing campaign.

Spence has inherited the number 39 jersey that Max Wober left behind when he left the team on loan this summer, while Gruev will wear the 44 jersey that was most recently worn by Mateusz Bogusz. Kamara inherits the number 8 jersey from Marc Roca, who left the team earlier this summer.

The only number left is Anthony’s, but as his trade was made at the last minute and he was never expected to play against Sheffield Wednesday today, there is no rush.
