Tottenham Hotspur have produced some of the best talent in recent years and there is another who is currently being considered a star.

Jamie Donley is the player in question, and before Spurs met Liverpool, he was photographed in training.

On Thursday, the Tottenham website shared pictures of their players training before the appearance of the Red Devils under Jurgen Klopp in N17.

Donley appeared in a photo captioned:

“Deki, Ben, Destiny, Jamie Donley, Eric Dier and Pape on a team without bibs.”

It was great to see the 18-year-old training with his seniors, especially before the important match against Liverpool.

Not only does this speak to his qualities and potential, but he also benefits from useful advice from his colleagues.

“He’s someone to watch.”

Donley has made waves in the Tottenham academy and is being touted as a future Spurs star. This season, he recorded 6 assists and 1 goal in 6 matches in Premier League 2.

Donley also impressed in the EFL Trophy, scoring two goals and an assist against Colchester.

Jack Pitt-Brooke of The Athletic described Donley as a “natural footballer” who was “stylish and skillful”.

Speaking on the View From The Lane podcast earlier this year, he said the youngster was considered “the best of his generation” at N17.

“I think the best young player they’ve got is a lad called Jamie Donley,” said Pitt-Brooke.

“He was born in Northern Ireland, I’ve seen him play actually, and he played in that game he was good.

“He’s a natural footballer, lots of time on the ball, elegant, skilful.

“He was playing in attacking midfield but I gather he can also play up front.

“He’s very highly rated and is thought to be the best of his generation coming through at Tottenham at the moment, so he’s one to watch out for.”
