ANGE Postecoglou has written his name into the history books with the win over Liverpool.

Liverpool faced a major setback as they were reduced to ten men, with Curtis Jones receiving a red card for a reckless challenge, paving the way for Spurs to seize the initiative.

Son delivered a quintessential strike, the kind familiar to Celtic fans, having witnessed similar goals over the past few years. The precision play saw the ball relayed to the sprinting winger, who dispatched a low cross to the striker, resulting in a flawless finish to find the back of the net.

However, Liverpool managed to claw back, finding an equaliser on the brink of half-time and entering the break on level terms.

Spurs maintained their attacking intensity in the second half, a period marked by Diego Jota being sent off for receiving two yellow cards, a clear error of judgment on his part.

Despite the relentless pursuit, Tottenham seemed to be racing towards a disappointing result until luck favored them in the 96th minute with Matip’s own goal.

This victory put Ange Postecoglou in Spurs’ history books. He is only the second Tottenham manager in the Premier League era to go unbeaten in his first seven matches.

Additionally, Postecoglou etched his name in Premier League history as the second manager to oversee a team scoring two or more goals in each of their first seven Premier League matches.
