James Benge says Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal believe David Raya will join Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
This journalist said Arsenal believes Tottenham Hotspur will sign David Raya from Brentford.

Raya moved to Arsenal in the summer of 2023.
Matt Turner left for Nottingham Forest, and the Gunners brought in the 28-year-old Spain international goalkeeper.
Benge said about Raya on Charles Watts’ YouTube channel:
“They (Arsenal) thought he (Raya) was going to Spurs.”
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Twitter on June 14, 2023 that Raya had agreed “personal terms” with Tottenham.
Spurs are in talks with Brentford over the goalkeeper’s transfer fee, but the north London club have been unable to reach an agreement.

It is hard to see Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta drop Raya for the North London derby against Spurs.
Even though Aaron Ramsdale is a very good goalkeeper, Arteta is likely to stick with Raya this weekend.
Tottenham, though, have a very good goalkeeper in Guglielmo Vicario, who joined the North London club in the summer transfer window and has been very good so far this season.
