Romano confirms Tottenham are tracking Armand Lauriente

Speaking on the Here We Go podcast, popular Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur are pursuing Sassuolo attacker Armand Lauriente.

January may still be a few months away, but transfer rumors never sleep. One name that has recently been floated as a potential addition to Spurs’ squad is talented French player Armand Lauriente.

Tottenham’s summer transfer window was marked by the departure of great striker Harry Kane, but the hole has not yet been completely filled. The dynamic duo of Son Heung-min and Richarlison have proven to be promising leaders for the team, but the club remains wary of adding to its attacking ranks. French striker Armand Lauriente has long been on the radar of Tottenham. He spent the last year at Sassuolo and showed off his skills last season in Serie A, scoring seven goals in 28 appearances.

In a recent interview with TuttoMercatoWeb, Lauriente’s agent revealed that Tottenham were interested in the player during the summer transfer window. The revelation reignited speculation about a possible transfer for the Frenchman.

Tottenham’s interest in Arman L’Oriente is more than just hearsay, according to renowned soccer journalist Fabrizio Romano. Tottenham scouts are actively monitoring talent in the Italian league and Lauriente is one of the players they are keeping an eye on.

“Tottenham sent their scouts multiple times to watch Italian players in general. They are very active on the Italian market. They always follow the Italian market, and this is why their scouts are always keeping an eye on some talents. Lauriente did very well last season for Sassuolo, and he is one of the players Tottenham are following and tracking”

While the club may have refrained from making a formal bid for Lauriente, their interest in the player is clear. Tottenham’s scouts have been closely monitoring his performances, evaluating his potential to bolster the squad’s attacking options.

At present, Spurs have found themselves in a respectable position, with Son and Richarlison stepping up to fill the void left by Kane’s departure. However, the Premier League is a gruelling competition that demands depth and quality in every department.
