Sevilla will reportedly welcome any bids for Marcos Acuna amid Aston Villa’s interest.

The 32-year-old has been subject of interest from Villa since the summer. Contacts between parties is believed to have taken place but in the end, a move didn’t materialise.

However, Acuna is said to remain open to a move to English football. According to Mucho Deporte, Sevilla would be open to cash in on the Argentine in the new year.

The club is said to not be pleased with his form so far this season. Despite it being the middle of November, they say his season “has not yet started” as he drops in and out of the starting team.

Villa were claimed to have offered around €5million plus add-ons for Acuna which was deemed too low by the La Liga outfit. With their stance believed to have changed now, the club suspect that Villa “will return” with an improved offer to match Sevilla’s demands.

The report concludes that they have had “enough of the Argentine” and hope to solve the problem soon.
