The Cincinnati Bengals offense looks to be back after an impressive 34-20 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5. Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase had a career day, joining Hall of Fame WR Jerry Rice as the only players to reach an impressive milestone.

Chase finished the day with 15 catches for 192 yards and three touchdowns, joining Rice as the only players since 1950 with multiple games of 10-plus receptions, 190-plus receiving yards and three-plus receiving touchdowns, per NFL Research.

Cincinnati’s star receiver also set a franchise record for the most receptions in a single game and became just the fifth player in NFL history to record 15 receptions and three receiving touchdowns in a game, per ESPN Stats & Info.

Chase was clearly the primary beneficiary of quarterback Joe Burrow’s improving health after he reaggravated his calf injury in Week 2, and it’s exactly the kind of day the Bengals offense needed after struggling to start the season.

Burrow and Chase will need to keep their connection hot as the Bengals (2-3) host the Seattle Seahawks (3-1) in Week 6. They should be able to do so considering Seattle’s secondary has given up the third-most passing yards per game (280) in the NFL.
