Frank Michael Reich is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the head coach for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League There aren’t many winnable games left on the schedule for the Carolina Panthers but this week’s matchup against the Tennessee Titans is one of them. According to the ESPN FPI, the Panthers have a 38.3% chance to win while the Titans have a 61.4% chance.
Tennessee is off the heels of a 34-14 loss to division rival, Jacksonville, and has lost five of their last six games. During Tennessee’s three-game losing streak, they’re averaging just 12 points per game. Rookie quarterback Will Levis has put up good numbers in his four starts throwing for 857 yards, six touchdowns, and two interceptions but surprisingly, it’s been the running game that has held this team back. Derrick Henry has gone over 100 yards just twice this season and has totaled just 62 yards over the past two weeks.
Carolina’s offense has had its own struggles as well but they do have the edge defensively, owning the sixth-best unit in the league in terms of yards allowed per game (308.6). To add to that, Carolina could get some reinforcements back on that side of the ball with corners Jaycee Horn (hamstring) and C.J. Henderson (concussion protocol) trending in the right direction. Prior to last week’s win at the lowly Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, Ceedee Lamb, was on a very impressive streak. He had managed over 150 yards receiving in each of the past 3 games, and over 110 yards in each of the past 4. So impressive was this feat that it actually managed to land Lamb in the NFL record books.
Thus, the Cowboy faithful were understandably devastated when Lamb was forced off in the first half of their 33-10 win against Carolina with a sprained ankle. However, it seems like despite the quick turnaround, Lamb may well be healthy soon enough to face the Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving, per Tom Pelissero.
