Jaire Alexander missed the Packers’ Week 7 loss to the Denver Broncos with a back injury. Eric Stokes, who made his return to the Packers lineup against the Broncos, suffered a hamstring injury after a handful of snaps. Safety Darnell Savage is expected to miss a few weeks with a calf injury he sustained against the Broncos.

The Packers added some depth to the 53-man roster and practice squad ahead of practice Wednesday. According to Bill Huber with Sports Illustrated, the Packers signed Corey Ballentine to the 53-man roster. They also added Zyon Gilbert to their practice squad.
Both Gilbert and Ballentine are former Giants cornerbacks.
Per Pro Football Focus, Ballentine has earned a 66.5 grade for his 80 snaps on defense this season. He’s made five solo tackles.
