Another day, another Milwaukee Bucks record for Giannis Antetokounmpo. On Sunday against the Houston Rockets, the seven-time All-Star made history yet again by becoming the franchise’s all-time leader in rebounds — a feat that saw Antetokounmpo surpassing the great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the elite list. After amassing 17 boards in their 128-119 win against the Rockets, Giannis is now up to 7,165 rebounds in his career. Living legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will now have to settle for the No. 2 spot in the Bucks all-time rebounds leaderboard with 7,161 to his name.

After setting yet another iconic record, Giannis spoke out about how blessed he feels to be in a position to shatter these age-old records: “Great, great feeling,” Antetokounmpo said, via Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “Hopefully if I keep working hard, there’s more to come. I have goals, aspirations, things I want to accomplish and I want to keep on playing the game at a high level, I want to keep on taking care of my body and I know if I do that sometimes you break records. “But at the end of the day, I’m blessed. Beyond blessed to be all-time leading

In case you were wondering, Antetokounmpo is now the Bucks’ all-time leader in points, assists, blocks, defensive rebounds, field goals, field goal attempts, free throws, free throw attempts, triple-doubles, games, and minutes played
