The Ravens enter an NFL offseason with a ton of questions up and down the roster. With 48 players currently under contract and another 23 potentially entering free agency, there will be some crucial decisions to be made for general manager Eric DeCosta. Baltimore may be looking to save some money in the offseason as Spotrac.com currently has them listed with $-827,556 over the estimated cap.

There are some pending free agents the team will look to retain. Defensive tackle Justin Madubuike is most likely the team’s franchise tag designation while they continue to work out a long-term deal for the outstanding defensive lineman. Per Spotrac, the calculated market value for the Texas A&M Aggie is around $20.3 million per season. Linebacker Patrick Queen has excelled this season, and after the team refused his fifth-year option, is set to become a free agent. His calculated market value per Spotrac is $18.5 million.

far as players currently under contract who could see themselves as salary cap casualties due to high salaries for 2024, offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley is No. 1 on the list. Stanley is due $15,000,000 next season which could be saved if he’s cut, but the Ravens would incur a dead cap hit of $17,836,500. Linebacker Tyus Bowser is almost certain to be cut after inconsistent play since joining the Ravens as a second-round pick in 2017. Bowser is due $7.5 million next season while incurring a dead cap hit of just $2 million.
