Famous West Ham fan James Corden was seen comforting his son in the Emirates crowd as they watched the NLD match between Arsenal and Spurs.

There is no love lost between West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal.

West Ham and Arsenal have traditionally been united by their dislike of Spurs.

But a new rivalry has emerged between the Hammers and Gunners since Declan Rice moved to the Emirates this summer.

West Ham have a tough task beating Liverpool on Sunday in a 2pm kick-off.

West Ham fan James Corden saw his son’s comfort at the Emirates as they watched the NLD match between Arsenal and Spurs

At the same time, Arsenal took on Tottenham in the North London derby.

And a famous West Ham fan was filmed during the 2-2 draw between bitter rivals Arsenal and Spurs, as West Ham suffered a 3-1 defeat at Anfield.

James Corden is famous in the UK for co-writing and starring in the hit series Gavin and Stacey – in which he plays a West Ham fan called Smithy.

But famous West Ham fan Corden was seen comforting his son in the Emirates crowd as they watched the NLD match between Arsenal and Spurs.

A video posted to TikTok by a Gunners fan shows Corden, the Hammers’ famous madman, sitting in what appears to be the director’s office, just a few seats away from Arsenal leader Josh Kroenke.

Corden is standing, comforting his son Max with a hug. Maybe because he wants to be at West Ham!

Max was previously photographed wearing his West Ham kit to play football in America.

Hammers fans are scratching their heads but is this the reason?

West Ham fans were confused by Corden’s presence during the match between Arsenal and Spurs when the Hammers played Liverpool.

Especially with the tribalism between London rivals.

He is known to be close friends with West Ham sporting director Mark Noble and former Hammers captain Rice.

It is therefore possible that he attended the match as Rice’s guest and was consoling his son after the midfielder’s first mid-match substitution at club level.

This seems to be the most reasonable explanation given that Corden is a loyal West Ham fan.

The former League of Their Own hosts were spotted watching West Ham as they beat Luton at Kenilworth Road before the international break.

He also featured in West Ham’s Europa Conference League final victory in Prague.
