Jeff Dorsey, Quincy: I have been a Chiefs fan since 1969. I lived in New York then but moved to Kansas City in 1970. I suffered through the post-Lenny Dawson days but did so in a “new” Arrowhead Stadium. If you are gonna lose, you might as well lose in a great venue. There was some hope for the Chiefs with Steve Bono, Joe Montana, and Alex Smith as quarterback, but it just didn’t happen until the “Magic of Mahomes” arrived. His very first drive as quarterback came in the last game of the 2017 season against Denver. All he did was drive the team down the field and score a touchdown. The rest is history that is still in the making. Go Chiefs.

Craig Carter, Hannibal: I have been a Chiefs fan since 1988. I have seen a lot of crappy playoffs and disappointment in that time so, I am very much enjoying this “era.” Also, Derrick Thomas was and still is my favorite Chiefs player.

Bill Shuler, Quincy: I was a Chiefs and St. Louis Football Cardinals fan from about 1968. Big Red usually played in the early afternoon. Chiefs games were usually in the late afternoon. Infrequent opponents, so it was easy to root for both. I thought the 6-6 tie in 1970 was a Super Bowl preview. I was done with the Big Red when the moving vans headed for the desert. I was working for the Chiefs radio affiliate in Jefferson City at the time. Now an Arrowhead regular since 1988 between working media trips and family members who had season tickets.
